Drop in and LearnĀ T&Cs

Ā

These Terms and Conditions apply to ZenRobot's live online Drop-In Classes. By booking a class, you agree to the terms below.

1. Class format

ZenRobot Drop-In Classes are live, online learning sessions delivered at a specified date and time.

Classes are generally approximately 60 minutes long, although the exact duration may vary depending on the session.

Classes are not recorded and recordings will not be provided after the session.

2. Booking

Your place in a class is confirmed once you have successfully completed the booking process and, where applicable, payment has been received.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the class, date and time selected during booking are correct.

All class times will be displayed with the applicable time zone. Please check the corresponding time in your location before booking.

3. Cancelling your booking

If you can no longer attend a class, you must notify ZenRobot at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

Cancellation requests must be sent by email to academy@zenrobot.ai.

Where a qualifying cancellation is received at least 24 hours before the class, you may request either:

  • a transfer to another available session of the same class; or
  • a refund of the amount paid.

Refunds are subject to a 5% administration and payment-processing fee, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.

4. Moving your booking to another date

If you notify us at least 24 hours before your class, you may move your booking to a future available session of the same class at no additional charge.

Transfers are subject to availability.

If there is no future session currently scheduled, ZenRobot may retain a credit for you to use when the class is offered again or, at your request, process a refund in accordance with these Terms.

5. Late cancellations and no-shows

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled class, or do not attend the class, you will normally not be eligible for a refund or transfer.

This is because your place has been reserved and there may no longer be a reasonable opportunity to make it available to another participant.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer law, including circumstances in which a cancellation fee may not legally be charged.

6. If ZenRobot cancels or postpones a class

ZenRobot may occasionally need to cancel, postpone or change the time of a class due to circumstances such as instructor illness, technical problems or insufficient attendance.

If ZenRobot cancels a class, you will be offered:

  • a place in a future session; or
  • a full refund of the class fee.

The 5% administration fee will not apply where ZenRobot cancels the class.

If ZenRobot changes the scheduled date or time and the new time does not suit you, you may request a transfer or full refund.

7. Joining the class

Joining instructions will be sent to the email address used when booking.

You are responsible for:

  • providing a correct email address;
  • checking your inbox and spam or junk folders;
  • joining the session at the correct date and time;
  • having a reliable internet connection and suitable device; and
  • installing or accessing any software required to participate.

Failure to receive or notice an email does not automatically entitle you to a refund if the joining information was correctly sent to the address provided.

8. AI accounts and third-party tools

Some classes require access to specific third-party AI tools or software.

The requirements for each class will be stated on the relevant course page. It is your responsibility to create any required accounts and, where necessary, purchase the required subscription before the class.

ZenRobot does not control third-party platforms and cannot guarantee their availability, pricing, features or functionality.

A change, outage or limitation affecting a third-party AI platform does not automatically entitle a participant to a refund, although ZenRobot will make reasonable efforts to adapt the lesson where practical.

9. Free classes

Classes advertised as free do not carry a class attendance fee.

You may nevertheless need access to a third-party platform or subscription where this is clearly stated in the class description.

Because no class fee is paid, no cash refund is available for a free class.

If you cannot attend, we ask that you cancel your booking so the place can be made available to somebody else.

10. Participation and learning outcomes

Our Drop-In Classes are designed primarily as focused teaching and demonstration sessions.

Because classes are short, you may not complete a finished project during the session. We encourage participants to focus on understanding the workflow, asking questions and learning the process so that it can be applied afterwards.

ZenRobot does not guarantee any specific commercial, creative or professional outcome from attending a class.

11. Questions and interaction

Where practical, participants will have opportunities to ask questions during the live session.

The instructor may limit questions where necessary to keep the class on schedule or where a question falls outside the scope of the class.

12. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, course materials, presentations, workflows, teaching materials and supporting resources provided by ZenRobot remain the intellectual property of ZenRobot or the relevant rights holder.

Your booking gives you a personal right to use the materials for your own learning and work.

You may not reproduce, sell, distribute, publish, teach from or commercially redistribute ZenRobot course materials without our prior written permission.

13. Recording the class

Participants may not record, screen-record, reproduce, livestream or redistribute the class without ZenRobot's prior written permission.

ZenRobot will inform participants in advance if a particular session is going to be recorded by ZenRobot for any reason.

14. Behaviour during live sessions

Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards the instructor and other attendees.

ZenRobot reserves the right to remove a participant whose behaviour is abusive, discriminatory, threatening, deliberately disruptive or otherwise inappropriate.

A participant removed for serious misconduct will not normally be entitled to a refund.

15. AI-generated content

AI tools can produce inaccurate, inconsistent or unexpected results.

Examples demonstrated during a class are intended for educational purposes and are not guarantees that identical results will be produced in every account, prompt or platform.

Participants remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated material before using or publishing it, including considering accuracy, intellectual property, confidentiality and any other legal or professional requirements relevant to their use.

16. Confidential or sensitive information

Do not upload confidential, personal, commercially sensitive or proprietary information into an AI platform during a class unless you are authorised to do so and understand the platform's applicable terms and privacy settings.

ZenRobot is not responsible for information that a participant independently chooses to submit to a third-party service.

17. Changes to tools and course content

AI tools change quickly.

ZenRobot may therefore update the tools, examples, workflows or platforms demonstrated in a class where we believe doing so will provide a more useful or current learning experience.

The precise interface or functionality demonstrated may differ from what is available in your account because of platform updates, account type, geographic availability or subscription level.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ZenRobot will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from participation in a class, reliance on AI-generated outputs, third-party platform failures or a participant's inability to access the required technology.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

19. Consumer rights

These Terms are intended to operate alongside applicable consumer protection legislation and do not remove any rights that cannot legally be waived.

Where applicable law gives you greater rights than these Terms, the applicable law will prevail.

20. Refund and booking enquiries

All cancellation, transfer and refund requests must be submitted to:

academy@zenrobot.ai

Please include:

  • your full name;
  • the email address used to book;
  • the name and date of the class; and
  • whether you are requesting a transfer or refund.

The time at which the email is received by ZenRobot will be used to determine whether the request was made at least 24 hours before the class.

21. Acceptance of these Terms

By completing a booking for a ZenRobot Drop-In Class, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
